OUR TRACK RECORD

Evolve Enterprise Solutions (EES) was founded by Joerg Ruetschi in Sept`19 as an independent platform and umbrella company to originate and deliver managerial and advisory mandates in operational private equity and venture capital, and drive enterpreneurial initiatives. The company further engages in research and exchange about value creation, growth & enterpreneurial leadership, complex corporate matters and technology innovation.

Strategic priorities

EES focuses on foundational and platform technologies, applying its expertise in growth leadership and complex corporate matters to drive value creation.
Our work is organised around four pillars:

  • Artificial Intelligence & Enterprise Technology

  • Alternative Investments

  • Special Situations & Complex Corporate Matters

  • Research & Exchange Programme

Our track record across these areas is outlined below.

Artificial Intelligence & Enterprise Technology

We leverage artificial intelligence, open-source technologies and compound architectures to build enterprise platforms that augment, orchestrate and operationalise intelligence.

Our primary interests are AI as the cognitive layer of the enterprise and the development of full-stack platforms. Key use cases span strategic risk-taking, alternative capital, supply chains, and security & defence.

We transform complex data into actionable intelligence and automated workflows by combining human expertise with machine learning, advanced analytics, natural language processing, and generative and agentic AI. Our approach integrates structured, unstructured, real-time and historical data with domain expertise and decision frameworks, making organisational knowledge more accessible, connected and actionable.

Core applications include advanced search, strategic intelligence, forecasting and risk management. These capabilities provide the foundation for operating systems that manage large, complex datasets and for unified knowledge and intelligence platforms. Agentic AI extends this model by proactively identifying patterns, surfacing insights, generating recommendations and synthesising knowledge across domains.

We scale these platforms by integrating technology-enabled services and workflows through compound architectures. In capital and private markets, our focus is on integrated platform models and full-stack risk infrastructure.

Our experience spans capital-markets and banking spin-offs, challenger and digital banks, specialty finance, and alternative-capital platforms. We have developed technology-driven merchant-banking proposition for SMEs that integrate core systems, infrastructure and embedded services into scalable, AI-native platforms. This model also extends to supply chains and security & defence, where AI-driven intelligence is reshaping decision-making, risk management and operating models.

Selected AI track record:

In C-level roles at Nectar Digital Wealth and interop.io, Joerg led the spin-out of quantmate.ai, a Bayesian inference technology, and the successful exit of ChartIQ, a leading data-visualisation platform. He subsequently returned to a full-time AI operating role, leading the strategic reorganisation, turnaround and exit of Starmind, an AI-powered knowledge platform, before joining Capacity as Managing Director, EMEA.

In 2019, Joerg was appointed interim CEO of Sentifi, an AI company specialising in natural language processing and sentiment analysis. He led its turnaround and repositioning, resulting in a purchase offer from a global financial-information provider. Sentifi was subsequently recapitalised as a standalone business in 2020 and transitioned to its APAC management team under a new majority shareholder.

Alongside his executive roles, Joerg has led several entrepreneurial and strategic AI initiatives. From 2020, he led the incubation and launch of impactvise, an AI-enabled sustainability analytics and advisory platform for the legal and investment industries. He served as Founding Partner and Board Director until 2022 and as Senior Advisor until its strategic alliance with US legal-sourcing platform Justice Bid in 2023.

From 2022 to 2024, Joerg was Senior Advisor at ACERTAS, leading the deployment of AI-driven decision intelligence for financial institutions and alternative investments, with a focus on strategic and risk intelligence, advanced analytics, complexity science and high-performance computing.

Selected Enterprise Platform track record:

Across other C-level mandates, Joerg led the 2021–23 scale-up of an application-interoperability platform through the spin-off of Finsemble and subsequent merger into interop.io; the 2024 scale-up to profitability of Osome, an SME platform for embedded accounting and corporate services; and the 2020–21 exit of Fundbase, a cloud-based alternative-investment platform, to Acolin (Broadridge).

From 2022 to 2025, Joerg served as Operating Partner at Deutsche Credit, working with the CEO to revive and reposition the business around its digital platform and a vision for a pan-European private-capital platform.

Current mandates include supporting a Tier 1 asset manager in developing an SME lending platform for Germany and advising an AI-native defence technology company on its transition from a services business to a scalable platform model.

Alternative Investments

We advance growth and transformation in alternative investments through innovative products, technologies and platform models across private and capital markets.

Our track record combines long-standing expertise in RiskTech and full-stack platform development, with a particular focus on risk and alternative capital. We apply advanced technologies to enhance risk assessment and decision-making and build integrated platforms across activist investing, strategic risk-taking and alternative capital. AI increasingly powers insights, analytics and automation across the investment lifecycle.

As Senior Advisor to Executive Committees and as Board Directors, we align transactions, product development and technology with strategy, growth and transformation. Our expertise in AI and enterprise technology provides an additional lever for value creation across the industry.

Previously with StepStone Group, Goldman Sachs and PwC Strategy&, our founder brings broad experience in alternative investments across the full capital structure and both public and private markets. His experience spans private markets, hedge funds and alternative risk transfer, including the convergence of reinsurance and alternative-investment strategies. A particular focus is the development of new products, technologies and platform models across alternative asset classes.

Special Situations & Complex Corporate Matters
We advise on special situations and complex corporate matters, including growth acceleration, turnarounds, restructurings and M&A. Our approach combines strategy and execution with high-stakes negotiation, conflict resolution and effective governance.

Our mandates span strategy development and validation, value-creation and turnaround plans, business transformation, disposals, greenfield build-ups and buy-to-build strategies. We also provide commercial and operational support for M&A transactions and principal investments, including investor and due-diligence advisory.

A particular focus is high-stakes negotiation and conflict resolution in complex situations, including M&A, restructurings and shareholder disputes. We combine strategic deal facilitation and mediation with governance structures designed to strengthen performance, align stakeholders and prevent conflict.

Our founder developed his negotiation expertise through a career in investment banking, strategic advisory and corporate leadership, complemented by formal training in negotiation and meditation. His approach integrates negotiation strategy and conflict resolution with value creation and performance improvement, recognising effective governance as a critical enabler of alignment, performance and sustainable growth.

Research & Exchange Programme

Our experience-driven value-creation methodology is supported by ongoing research and a commitment to sharing practical knowledge.

Our book, “Transforming Financial Institutions” sets out the core principles of EES’s methodology. Through our Entrepreneurial Leadership in the Digital Age” programme, we apply these principles across industries while continuing to advance our research and promote the exchange of experience-based knowledge and methods with partners and clients.
